Handmade Fashion Magazine Launch

Thursday night I attended the launch of a new magazine called 'Handmade Fashion' a new publication from All Craft Media. It plans to be a quarterly magazine specialising in all that is handmade and vintage.

Having a read of the complimentary copy that I was given, I'm quite impressed, the pages are gorgeous and glossy and have items you can make such as pencil skirts.

The launch was held in the quirky little bar called Hooga where you can drink cocktails from teapots and tea cups. We were treated to a fashion show, hair styling and dancing.

Here's what I wore

Dress - ASOS
Shoes - NEXT

I met Johanna from Charming Grace Jewellery who had a stall at the launch and I bought the below beautiful handmade bracelet. I have tiny wrists and Johanna altered the bracelet 3 times for me to ensure that it fitted perfectly, what service!

Rose Patricia Millinery was there for us to try on some of her hats.

What have you been up to this week?

  1. Hooga sounds amazing! Buuuuut probably not as amazing as your lovely dress! I luuurve it!

  2. Love the new bracelet too honey. Looks like it was a really fun day.

  3. Be very careful. The publisher of this magazine has an awful track record in business - designers and staff not paid, goods and subscriptions not sent out, lack of communication. All Craft Media is just the latest of several companies run by the same person and they tend to fold, owing people money. Be aware if you give money to ACM you may well get nothing in return.

  4. History of the person behind ACM at http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/friends-of-the-group-once-known-as/2116987/1-25#12
    (free membership required).

Don't take out a subscription with ACM until you've read it!

  5. Be careful with ACM.
You look gorgeous in that dress btw!!

Your comments are always much appreciated, thanks for taking the time.
